From now on, things will get worse as we all face Ice Age 3 disturbing our daily life. However, if you want to escape reality, drop by at Bazar to enlighten your soul. Even though Bazar has actually been quite a settled name throughout the last decade, I couldn’t resist reminding you once again. (..more)
Wandering around Amsterdam’s canals you always seem to discover something new. A little niche filled with hidden treasures. These places are safe havens for collectors, specialists, historians, modernists and the freaks inside us all. The Otherist is exactly one of these niches, a small shop with some of the most interesting items to tickle anyone’s fancy freakish fetish. (..more)

I adore photography, however I am no photographer (apart from my amateur holiday snap shots). What I do know is that analogue photography is incredibly popular right now, especially lomography. This September a Lomography Gallery Store was opened in our famous 9 Straatjes. The Lomography Gallery Stores are located all over the world, including Berlin, London, Paris, New-York, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Beijing so it was about time Amsterdam got one as well! (..more)
