Guest of Honour: A night with Âme at Innervisions’ ADE special showcase
Man, were we broken after this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event. The main events on the highly anticipated Thursday night were Studio 80′s all-nighter and the legendary Night With Innervisions at Trouw. My partner in crime Mark and I decided to go check out the latter. Of course, we did not go empty handed. One of my favourite albums of late is the new solo album by Satori (of El Mundo & Satori fame) on the Dutch techno label Bla Bla. In fact, we were so excited by the sound of this album that we invited Satori to perform his new live-set at our upcoming event Midnight Wonderland. To spread our excitement and to make sure the room is packed when he takes the stage, I interviewed Satori about his inspirations, Zen moments and the live jam session with keys that he will perform at Midnight Wonderland. Guest of Honour: Ten hour DJ sets with Andre Galluzzi
Last Friday October 7th, Cocoon DJ/producer and Berghain resident Andre Galluzzi played a 3 hour set at We Are E's party in Studio 80. After being involved in the underground dance scene for more than 20 years, he has become quite infamous for his intoxicating extra long sets. He plays all around the globe and has a residency in Berlin’s Berghain. After his wild performance, we got to chat with the bearded barbarian. (..more)

This Friday sees Berliner-by-choice and resident DJ of the legendary Panorama Bar Prosumer pay a visit to Amsterdam. As a part of the Berghain family, maybe the worlds most illustrious club, Prosumer has been making a name for himself with releases on the Berghain related Ostgut label and by touring around the world. Friday August 26th, DJ/producer Marc Romboy gave a special 'Emulator' showcase at Studio 80. This man has helped some well renowned projects and platforms see the light of day such as Terminal M, Alphabet City, PSI-49-Net and of course his very own Systematic Recordings. Guest of Honour: Rodriguez Jr at We Are EP’s Release Party
On April 1st, Amsterdam's techno temple Studio 80 hosted a party for We Are E's new label called We Are EP. For the occasion Rodriguez Jr played a live set and did a remix for their first release by Loops. Guests of Honour: Aril Brikha & Chymera’s live b2b Amsterdam debut
Swedish rock star Aril Brikha has been an ambassador of deep techno soul for the last 15 years, ever since his Groove La Chord crossed all generic boundaries. Irishman Chymera (Brendan Gregoriy) has carefully honed his melodic brand of techno and house over the years and found support from a wide range of DJs and fans in the process. Guest of Honor: Ivan Smagghe wants to kill undefined things
Ivan Smagghe is pretty cool. Just look at him. He looks so intriguing and mysterious. After reading his Facebook description I didn’t get the impression that he likes (lazy) journalists, but I took the risk. I like his music. What I like about it is that he plays obscure music but at the same time his sets are danceable. On the 3rd of May he’ll play at Horizon in Doka. (..more)
