Mixtape Monday: “The weekend got the best of me..” by Terry Toner
Electronation boss Terry Toner barely survived the weekend: an upset stomach and a big Electronation party in the Sugar Factory featuring Max Cooper on Saturday. I've been told by fellow Overdose.am writer Ridz that Max Cooper lived up to the hype and that it was his best live DJ experience of the year so far. Terry Toner doesn't just organize parties though, he is a well known DJ in Amsterdam, regularly playing at both underground and mainstream events. He made a podcast for us to enjoy this week! Mixtape Monday: Some Chemistry at Hannekes Kroon
We had an amazing Queen's Day hosting Hannekes Kroon with Plak at the festivalesque paradise that is Hannekes Boom. The sun, the people, the music, it was all very, very relaxed. The second DJ of the day was Some Chemistry who is also known as Ridz and writes the weekly nightlife guide 'Next Monday's Hangover here on Overdose.am. He recorded his set for us to enjoy and relive at least my best Queen's Day in years. See you at our next event, Friday night in the Chicago Social Club! (..more)

Our second big event after the Next Monday’s Hangover rave is a Queen’s Day collaboration with local rave organizers Plak and will be one not to miss. Expect music by local DJs and a festival-like setting, at a location of which you’ve never seen the likes before. (..more)
A closer look at 5 Days Off’s electronic music extravaganza
With 5 Days Off coming closer and the line-up getting nearer to completion, it's time to take a better look at all the music that is coming to our little town in the beginning of March (2nd to 6th). For this article, we've asked some of our friends and colleagues with a distinguished taste to recommend one night of the programme, and tell you why that night is the one you definitely shouldn't miss. Funny thing is, they all picked a different one. (..more)
