With the Schwarzmann Soirée still freshly carved in my memory I can’t wait for the next Red Bull Music Acadamy event; Bass Camp. This week upcoming artists Jarreau Vandal, Sofie Winterson, Interstellar Funk, Beesmunt Soundsystem, Elias Mazian, Sevdaliza, Garrincha, ANIK, Yung Felix, Kim Spierenburg and Parrish Smith will get into a studio and unleash their creativity to make new music. Dutch carnival has just ended but some people like to disguise any time of the year. I’m talking about drag queens, or drags. A phenomenon that’s getting more and more popular here. This Saturday nine drag houses with more than 100 drags compete for the precious title Leading drag house, on the Superball. So much extravaganza under one roof is simply fabulous. (..more)

Is it possible to become who we want to be or even better, the best version of ourself, in the year 2015? Are there too many boundaries or are we living in a society who makes it hard to choose for your own identity. I’m a big dreamer about these kind of issues and luckily the cool photographer Henri Verhoef (24), is so as well. He shows us that fashion goes way beyond fabrics and shoes.
