Last week David Lemaitre visited and we had the pleasure to record them. For the people who are not familiar with David Lemaitre: It's a group of three guys living in Berlin, Germany. The singer was born in Bolivia and this is what you are hearing in the unique sound they are producing. In this Bagels for Breakfast recording you can see what they can do with big sound in a small room. At 't Blauwe Theehuis in the middle of the Vondelpark in Amsterdam David Lemaitre played their song Pandora's Box. We are very proud to present you this truly amazing sound. (..more)

We are in the middle of the summer and what do we do in the summer? Lying in the grass, Yellow Grass. The band Yellow Grass played for “Holes in my Pocket” at Hannekes Boom in Amsterdam. Their debut EP was just released and they are kicking some ass with beautiful intimate and poetic songs about life and their experiences. This is how a bagel tastes in the summer. Enjoy the grass! We hope you like this French/scottish bagel! A song about a ‘Piscine’, French for swimming pool. Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains are a group of guys with Frenchman Frànçois in front. The rest of the guys are called the Atlas Mountains just because they like these mountains in the north of Africa. For the Indiestad festival they visited Amsterdam to play in Paradiso, so we arranged a exclusive session with them. While Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains played their track Piscine in the office of Hammerstein lawyers in the centre of Amsterdam we filmed them while Sjaan Flikweert from New dance company dances on their music.
