Amsterdam Fashion Week Day 4 – Elise Kim
As Amsterdam Fashion Week comes to an end, I'm pleased to have witnessed Elise Kim's collection and seen the detailed and fine work in each one of her pieces. Kim's love for fashion started at an early age, in her home-town Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. Her passion resides in the textures and various materials she encounters. It's no surprise that this collection showcased a combination of fabrics and few strong colours such as blue, bright red and orange. (..more)

Best coffee in town at De Koffie Salon

Following her heart, Giulia moved to Amsterdam four years ago to join Christian, her Italian boyfriend and business partner. Food for aristocrats at New King
Perhaps this spot needs no presentation. It has to be, hands down, one of the most popular joints in Chinatown. However, I can’t help to brag about how happy I feel after I eat there. New King is favourite amongst my friends and it reaches a new high every time I need some comfort in food. (..more)
Challenge yourself at De Klim Muur
There I was, spider-woman, climbing away, grabbing on to grip after grip. When, suddenly, I realized my legs were shaking and so were my arms. I was stuck. Way up there. Drops of sweat rolling down my forehead. I refused to look down. I screamed: block!! Luckily, my fellow climber brought me down smoothly and then I managed to catch my breath. If you, like me, are one of those people who think wall climbing is easy, think again. (..more)
Getaway to Spain at Pata Negra
“Otra sangria por favor!” The waiter walking by nods, and heads to get me another drink. There’s flamenco music playing in the background, under the dim light. I hear the buzzing and the laughter of other people’s conversations. I don’t feel like I’m in Amsterdam, but that I have been transported to a tapas restaurant somewhere in Spain. Pata Negra has been a lovely escape, not just from the weather. (..more)
