Mixtape Monday: Back To Vandam Street by Aurelius
Jannis Jansen is a New York house DJ and producer, better known under his moniker Aurelius. He’s a product of the late 80’s and was born and raised in Amsterdam. In 2006 Aurelius first developed his interest in electronic music, after hearing Remember by Franck Roger and Jovonn played out in a club. After playing in some local clubs things started to get serious. He became resident DJ at the well known Amsterdam night club Studio 80 and is currently preparing his first release, which won’t take very long now. (..more)

Fans of introvert Scandinavian singer/songwriter and ambient music, and I know their are plenty of you sensitive souls out there, there is mandatory attendance for you next Monday in the forest theatre down in Amsterdams only really patch of woodland. Why? Because of Ólafur Arnalds of course. This multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer from Iceland is known for mixing strings and piano with loops and edgy beats crossing-over from ambient/electronic to pop. (..more)

Martín Lucas is an Amsterdam based young producer and DJ. He was influenced by different genres from Hiphop, Jazz, R&B to House, Deep house, Minimal and Techno. His roots lies within the percussion and drums which he played for over more then 7 years. Later on, close friends started to play the decks and influenced him to play the decks himself.
