Meet the Chinese dance music industry at House of China

De Balie will play host to an event about one of the fastest growing industries. Three leading companies from the Chinese dance music industry will gather during this year’s ADE for House of China. This new platform will be the only official China conference program during ADE 2018. The event is set up to connect the Chinese and international dance music industry and to discuss the latest developments, opportunities and challenges in the Chinese market.

House of China at ADE

China has already been a focus during ADE 2017, but this year House of China is a new pillar within the ADE framework. Bringing the leading corporations of the Chinese dance music industry under one roof in Amsterdam, the event discusses the latest developments in electronic music in China with the international dance industry and community. China will be part of the ‘Countries to Watch’ program developed by ADE for this year’s edition. Within the ‘Countries to Watch’ program, emerging markets get special attention in order to inform the global music industry about new developments in these focus countries.

Presenting Partners

During this years’ installment of House of China as new ADE pillar, three ‘Presenting Partners’ have been invited to jointly give a comprehensive overview and open a discussion of the Chinese dance music industry. Together with other global industry leaders, BrotherHood Music, China Minsheng Cultural Media Development and Mai Ai Culture Communications will be the industry experts during the ADE House of China industry panel discussions.

The ADE House of China program includes an industry conference and panel discussions, a reception and business matchmaking, and an exhibition; which jointly offers a view on the current state of the market and presents an outlook on what is yet to come for the Chinese dance scene. The panels include viewpoints from China and the West on topics as; Digital Streaming Platforms, music festivals as part of city branding, the development of a dance music culture, and the expansion of Western brands to China and Chinese brands to the world. Apart from the daytime program, presenting partners will also organize a variety of activities independently.
