Jerry is the name, online is my game. I'm a digital enthusiast, ranging from old skool gaming and Space Invaders to iPads and social media. The integration of digital elements in everyday life and art have my particular interest, and besides that I'm part time rockaholic.

This is a contribution by photographer Anieck van Maaren. Passionate about live music and travel, she’s been known to tour all over Europe to see her favourite bands perform, combining her passions in the process.

The Melkweg was home to Waterparks fans queuing out starting early in the morning on Monday. The pop punk band from Texas took a little break from their tour with Sum 41 to headline the Melkweg OZ and they brought their army of dedicated fans. Waterparks’ style can be described as bubblegum pop punk, loud but sweet, and despite the fact that the majority of their fans are underaged, the crowd was wild. Moshpits and crowdsurfers were frequent, so much so that a few audience members started asking lead singer Awsten Knight to put a stop to them. “Sorry, I think crowdsurfing is cool as shit!” he responded. And quite frankly, I agree.
