About the author
Being driven by music from a young age made me realize how lucky I am to be situated in Amsterdam and its ever growing scene of artists, events and, of course, music enthusiasts. With a focus on the feel of House, Techno and all in between, sharing my love for music in any way possible acts as a fine expressive outlet.

Friday: The Taste Of Orpheu The Wizard with Legowelt, Ron Morelli & more @ Atelier

Rejoicing the crowd with selections of soulful disco while opening Festimi and closing down the Red Light Radio stage at Lentekabinet with some fierce electro the week after. Not many are as suitable for these kinds of cross-genre adventures as Orpheu The Wizard and it’s the exact reason why Jägermeister’s next ‘Taste Of’ event will be in his control. This has resulted in Orpheu welcoming some of his own favorite masters of the craft, perfectly summing up the variation of his musical interests. The lined up consist of the creative genius that is Legowelt, L.I.E.S. founder Ron Morelli, and two more recently launched projects named Phaser Boys and Za Talent, which is formed by Suzanne Kraft & Jonny Nash. Given that Orpheu’s peculiar taste comes forth in the mentioned acts and the event is taking place at the creative space of Atelier, you’re in for a treat for sure. RSVP at www.jagermusic.nl for a free spot on the guestlist.

Sunday: NDS Sunday with Tom Liem, Dubsteve & more @ Dok

As the sun is shining bright for days and Sunday will not be any different, it is with joy that New Dutch School is hosting their daytime party at Dok again. Combining Dok’s beachy atmosphere with fine local selectors has been something of a luxury since the concept took off and with yet another steady edition coming through I can only say that initiatives like these are as welcome as ever. Taking care of tunes will be Breakfast Club’s Tom Liem, The Tribe’s Dubsteve, Tomorrow is Now Kid!’s Joel Hemmen and NDS’s own William Köster. As all of them are representing both established and flourishing organizations from around town, we’ll be served some distinct brands of house and electronics as the soundtrack of the week’s end.

Sharing is caring!
