Friday: Cantina with Dimitri From Paris @ De Marktkantine

This Friday long-standing mashup pioneer Dimitri From Paris will visit Cantina for the second time. Having been prominently active at a wide range of musical endeavours since the ’80s, nowadays Dimitri is foremostly expressing himself through his swinging DJ sets and reviving remixes. The Turkish born has efficiently remixed hundreds of established artists throughout the years and followingly curates his performances with many of these disco & house infused gems. Be it The Jackson 5, New Order or Prince, you’ll likely be bombarded with both nostalgia and joy from the start. To top things off, Pablo Discobar Soundsystem and T.U.R.F. are lined up as well.

Saturday: The Tribe with Herodot @ BRET

Another journey lies ahead for the Tribe’s devoted followers. For their second expedition at the beloved red construction that is BRET they teamed up with Romanian leader in command Herodot. One of the contemporary delegates of the ‘rominimal’ sound (which the Dam is so lucky to enjoy more and more these days) is bringing his uplifting tools and tricks to the decks to deliver a masterclass that for some reason only seems achievable by someone with Romanian roots. Furthermore, Christopher & Nicholas together with Dubsteve will be present to provide the surrounding hours with their accurately selected tunes. Join the Tribe!
