Friday: Palms Trax @ De School

Wonderboy Palms Trax returns to De School. The Dekmantel label member’s frequent visits during this festival season will be properly brought to an end by a club night. Ranging between garage house, Detroit-edged records and obscure disco classic, Jay Donald knows how to carefully blend them together and more importantly, when to blend them together. Accompanied by Berlin-based Gwenan, the night will be closed in proper dark-tinted fashion.

Saturday: AndTextures presents: Mndsgn & Kutmah @ OT301

This is the one right here for your Saturday! Modern day funk virtuoso Mndsgn and beat butcher Kutmah take over OT301. After AndTextures‘ previous events with Lapalux, Jarreau Vandal and more, Mndsgn and Kutmah are up next. Mndsgn’s recent album is filled with funk infused hip hop beats. These type of events with beat-centered DJs/producers need to happen more often. Head down and let yourself be convinced of this opinion.

Sunday: Silent Disco @ Pllek

As the forecast looks good on Sunday, Pllek will turn its beach into a silent disco. You can check the full roster on the event page. There are three colors representing the different channels on which DJs are gonna be providing the records to you. Keep an ear out for the blue channel while you’re there: Archief Soundsystem, consisting of Malse, 10Ninjasinahouse and yours truly, will spin some records accompanying the blessings of the sun gods. So come, kick back at the beach with some beats and let the sun and the music take care of your hangover!
