About the author
I’ve been a music hoarder all my life and it was I who coined the phrase: ‘Every genre has something to offer’ (patent pending). My main infatuations are House, Disco, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop and every subgenre in between. As long as the tunes spark up a euphoric feeling. Writing about Music expresses my passion for the art.

Too many plans for the weekend? Let me narrow your options down by weekly suggesting the events where you can meet, dance and drink with Amsterdam’s finest crowds. After all, ‘a hangover ain’t worth the pain if the party is lame’.

Friday: Tornado Wallace, Fantastic Man, Tenzers / more @ Claire

Berlin-stationed Aussies Tornado Wallace and Fantastic Man are taking over Claire this Friday. They’re known for their beautiful blend of deep cuts, electro-boogie and straight forward house music. Rest assured they’ll both do their thing behind Claire’s one’s and two’s. And with the Tenzers brothers joining them, the whole spectrum on dance music comes full circle.

Saturday: Midnight At The Museum @ Tropenmuseum

Something quite special right here: a night of afro and house music at the (Tropen)museum, as Blackstereo invites Brooklyn’s finest to the Dam. Oscar P takes on the job to turn the museum into a dancefloor. Accompanied by afro aficionados Mr Raoul K and Manoo, they’ll take you on a tropical tour, honoring the name of the museum (which translates to tropics museum).
