Friday: K+Peren: Femmes Centrales @ Studio/K

While DJing (still) remains a more male-dominated occupation, it’s really great to see the other sex increasingly take on (and killing it) behind the decks. Reason enough for Studio/K to invite an all-female line-up to give their take on this Friday’s K+Peren installment. With the likes of Illesnoise, TITIA and Hellie Berry, you’re never sure what type of music to expect, but the bottom line will definitely be groovy. Saturday: Lotgenoten w/ Dimitri From Paris, Joey Negro @ Paradiso

I got really excited when I saw that disco-house legends Joey Negro and Dimitri from Paris were invited by Lotgenoten to share a stage this Saturday. These two emulate so much happiness through both their own productions and their sets, worth even the heaviest hangovers. I’d even go as far as stating that the night won’t see a single person not smiling while boogieing down to some euphoric tunes. Whether they’re edits of disco classics or more recent soulful house cuts, Paradiso will be lit up. Make sure you brush your teeth well, as they’re gonna be on display the entire night.
