About the author
Some festivals are just good because they are. DGTL has something like that. The line-up is never bad, the food always yummy and for some reason the sun is always shining. But another unique aspect is that DGTL has a focus on environment. It’s in everyone’s mind, but to be practical about it seems a bit harder. That’s why I want to talk about this, to either convince you to go or to let you think about the more important things in life.
Party for a better world
I was doing some groceries when I needed some washing liquid. Sometimes I think about the waste it’ll cause when I use strongly fragranced Robijn Zwitsal or other ‘normal’ brands. But why thinking instead of doing? So, I changed my mind and bought soap from Seepje. This brand created detergent from natural ingredients, all the way from Nepal. Maybe this will inspire you to keep the waters clean. It’s a little change but it has a huge impact on the climate, but it also helps the work environment in Nepal. A win-win situation!
And from the left side of my brain, we’re going to the right side. Music. While you wander in the sun, please do a little dance on Skatebård and Moscoman (live) on Saturday. Sunday is all about playing games however, the aftermath. Trikk, Job Jobse and Kornél Kovács will do the trick.
And in the end, all it matters that we are connected together. So, have a big dance in the sun at DGTL and save the planet! Here’s last year’s aftermovie, so you have an idea what to expect:
