Berlin’s Around Film Festival is coming to Amsterdam

Film can be quite an enticing and diverse medium, covering many genres, disciplines and formats. The Around Film Festival (ARFF) is an international online event for all short, documentary, feature, commercial, music and animated films. Its goal is to provide homes to group of film enthusiasts who are committed in creating spaces for film industry and devoted to spreading of the knowledge of the modern visual art form to all interested for all around the globe to present it all on one single platform.

Come Around

Each year the ARFF hosts over 600 films, selects 121 winners over 11 months and announces the 11 Best Creations of the year on the Specified Sections of 2016. This year, they expanded their network to European culture capitals, and Amsterdam is one of them! On January 7 the winners screening and after party takes place at LAB111.

Around celebrates its third year with a global team, composed of directors, cinematographers, actors, cinema academicians, photographers, musicians, art historians and independent cinema enthusiasts. Reflecting the personality of their members, ARFF receives the films from every continent and aims to permit the self-expression of talented directors, to offer a solid platform to all independent film makers around the world and to promote freedom of creativity in cinema.
