Born and raised in Amsterdam, lives to dance and dances to live on electronic music, has a small vinyl addiction, appreciates a little sarcasm now and then, thinks musicals are annoying and loves those moments where you lose track of time completely.

Weekend! Some of you have been partying for two days already but for others the ADE madness starts today. I’ll help you kick it off right. Let me highlight three artists for you that are playing on Friday, that totally make it worth going to these events, even without the rest of the amazing line-ups next to them.

Clone Records ADE Special @ Shelter

DJ Stingray is pure confusion. He dresses in a black balaclava all the time so you can never see his face. I saw him play at Nachtdigital festival, and let me tell you, his music is even more intriguing than his appearance. His set is like a chaotic whirlwind storm, it’s all over the place. From banging electro, techno and house to booty shaking hip-hop and drum ‘n bass, all in an incredibly high BPM, you’ll hear it all. I don’t think I’ve ever danced as hard as I did back then and I can’t wait to do it again. Legowelt, I-F, Serge and Project Pablo are playing in brand new club Shelter as well.

ZeeZout @ Undercurrent

Palms Trax might be my favorite artist at the moment. Whether it’s his Berlin Community Radio series (which is an absolute goldmine of gems and I recommend you to listen to each podcast in it) or his releases on Dekmantel or my favorite label Lobster Theremin, Palm Trax delivers an amazing vibe. Go check him out! Palms Trax is playing b2b with Midland and Pender Street Steppers, Mad Rey, Interstellar Funk, Lord of the Isles, Nachtbraker and L’Atelier & Tijn Benedek are playing at ZeeZout too.

Bloc & Banlieue presents Minimal Wave @ Radion

Ryan Elliot is one of my favorite artists of all time. I discovered him tree years ago during ADE on Sunday. All my friends were partying it up at the last ADE party ever in Trouw. I was working late and by the time I got there they didn’t let passe partout holders in anymore so I decided to go to Dekmantel solo. I got in right when Ryan was playing and he blew my mind. His music is the perfect mixture between hard and soft and smooth and raw. He is one of the only artists that plays in both Berghain and Panoramabar regularly. When I saw him perform in Panoramabar two months ago it was one of my highlights of the year for sure. His mix right here might be two years old but I still listen to it a lot. Have a listen to his Fabric mix that just came out as well, its banging. Check him out in Radion, seriously. Funkineven, Joey Anderson, Sterac and Titia are playing too!

Check out KROOKS, Sister Midnight, URSL and Dave Clarke as well!
