About the author
Born and raised in Amsterdam, lives to dance and dances to live on electronic music, has a small vinyl addiction, appreciates a little sarcasm now and then, thinks musicals are annoying and loves those moments where you lose track of time completely.

Day two of the week of no sleep is drawing near. During Amsterdam Dance Event the entire global and local electronic music scene gathers in our city. Which is pretty cool but also kind of stressful because – unfortunately – you cannot be at 100 places at the same time. Fear of missing out would be an understatement. Let me tell you where to dance your asses of on Thursday and make this dilemma a bit easier for you.

Marcel Dettmann DJ-Kicks Release presented by LET @ OT301

This is one right here is on the top of the ADE list. Marcell Dettmann has teamed up with LET to celebrate his DJ-Kicks Release. Let me tell you, you won’t have a chance to see Marcel play in an intimate setting as OT301 again soon. His warm-up set is taken care of by Dekmantel’s Thomas Martojo. by This event is sold out, obviously. There will be 50 tickets at the door though. Be quick!

FEST & XXX @ Radion

Prins Thomas, Massimiliano Pagliara, Honey Soundsystem, Moscowman Live Band, Discodromo, Solar, SHMLSS and Afrobot. These artists equal pure bliss and happiness all night long. Fest and XXX basically got Cocktail D’Amore and Panoramabar to flirt with each other, right here in Radion. Want some coziness and quality on your Thursday night? Don’t miss out on this hidden gem.

Shelter opening @ Shelter

It’s always exciting when a new club opens. And what better moment to do so during ADE? Shelter, the club that’s located in the basement of the Toren is being built as we speak. The former Shell tower might be linked to ID&T (and give you associations of Sensation and commercial parties) but this club has its own identity. The fact that Kolja Verhage (from LET, Trouw and Transport) is the creative director gives me all the faith in the world. On the opening bill are Jackmaster, Moodymann, Tom Trago, De Sluwe Vos, William Djoko, Jasper James. Let’s go check out what all the fuss is about!
