Remember when I told y’all about MORE Bounce a couple of weeks ago? How well they provide only the most funkiest smelling funk? Well, they’re throwing their first own party at Canvas this Friday! The collective of producers, DJs and professional dancers encapsulate the essence of dance culture with tracks from the golden era of boogie and funk and combine it with the modern day addaptations. As the opening line of the set below states, after a night of MORE Bounce, ‘the funk shall be within you’.

Friday: Zwart Goud X Lobster Theremin @ Radion

Alternatively, if you’re up for some more high paced vibes, head over to Radion, where record store Zwart Goud let the infamous label Lobster Theremin make their debut in Amsterdam with a label showcase. They’ve made quite a name for themselves the past couple of years, putting out unique tracks on a steady basis and assembling a group of electronic music lovers. Their trademark space-laced synths and lovely Lo-Fi beats will certainly cause the party to be one to remember.

Saturday: Brighter Days @ Canvas

Even with the bright sun rays reaching your skin this week, even more Brighter Days are to come this Saturday. At Canvas the temperature will rise, as Brighter Days invites French versatile allrounder Gilb’R. Accompanied by residents Kamma and Masalo, the three are providing the necessary rhythms from all outskirts of the planet, heating up Canvas like never before.
