Remember those days… where you would say your three-day farewell to the outside world, hugged your mum goodbye and told your dad that ‘no news is good news’? Today there is no excuse for not sharing your status, in fact – charging your phone calls for a solid spot on your social media feed!
If you haven’t had the pleasure to bump into the KPN stand at PITCH festival, Pinkpop or Down The Rabbit Hole, let me relive the experience and share it with you. Conveniently located at the back of the main festival area you cannot, not have seen this green platform of fun. While your phone’s being revived, you have a few options to kill time:
- Relax and chill out at KPN Play – zap through the many digital TV channels, finally feel part of the conversations by watching the latest episode of Game of Thrones, or just take a tiny power-nap in the comfy theater chairs.
- Show off your best moves at KPN Miniclub – you might remember them from back in the days… The old school phone boots of KPN have been pimped and repurposed to Silent Disco Mini Clubs! Squeeze your sexy body through that door and step into the magic.
- Sip a drink on the KPN terrace – Grab yourself a drink and dramatically drape yourself at one of the picnic style tables on the KPN terrace. Stream some tunes with the Mobile Disco app. Or, if you’re lucky, you might be up for a treat and meet the KPN guys and girls for a nice and fruitful chat.
The options are endless, or plenty to say the least. Did I mention there’s free WiFi on the entire festival area? So, if you missed your chance at PITCH, make sure you’ll get your connectivity fix at Lowlands. Who knew a low battery could give you so much in return?
