Dancing in a warehouse just adds another dimension to a party. Not that we have anything against partying in a club, but warehouses have that raw industrial feeling we like so much. Elementenstraat is one of those places with potential for some dark magic. And it so happens that Luciano is bringing his world-renowned party series Luciano & Friends there next week. On Friday Cesar Merveille, Melon, Ferro and of course Luciano himself will put the warehouse’s dance floor on fire. With balanced sets, impeccable sound quality and an intimate atmosphere in store, we sure as hell can’t wait.

Luciano

Because of Luciano his last show in our town, in Paradiso, we already know that this again will be one for the books. He’s considered to be one of the leading artists in and house and techno. Luciano founded Cadenza Records and is an Ibiza resident at Spance and Destino. Having had some rest after an intense summer he’s back and more than ready to perform next week. You can expect nothing less than merging deep and soulful atmospheres with driving, hot-blooded rhythms. Sexy things are guaranteed to happen.

Cesar Merveille

Cadenza family member Cesar Merveille is right in line with Luciano. This Parisian-born, Berlin-based guy plays music from house and techno, to Latin and tribal funk. With releases on Private Gold, Visionquest and Wolf + Lamb you know this is going to be good. His unbridled energy and musical intuition behind the decks will create some magic moments for you for sure.

Melon

This Amsterdam-based DJ has such an exquisite taste in music, it seems he’s always one step ahead of the rest of the scene when it comes to his record choices. Figures, the guy has been spinning for over 30 years now. He’s a resident at Fabric, Robert Johnson or Panorama Bar and he used to be one at Trouw (rest in peace). Not to mention he has his own label Ratio? as well. Have a listen to this Boiler Room set he did in Trouw, it’s timeless.

Ferro

Amsterdammers know Ferro has been around for years. He started playing when he was 17 years old. Back then his music was inspired by classical music, jazz and science fiction. Now his sets wave together intricate rhythms, plenty of mood and always make dance floors come alive. Ferro is an Audio Engineer graduate which means he produces his own music too, so you can expect to hear some of his own stuff on Friday as well!
