About the author
Born and raised in Amsterdam, lives to dance and dances to live on electronic music, has a small vinyl addiction, appreciates a little sarcasm now and then, thinks musicals are annoying and loves those moments where you lose track of time completely.

Amsterdam Dance Event is my favorite sleepless week of the year. I’ve been going there since I was 15 and will try to go there until the end of time. It is also a week of great dilemmas. 80 venues and over 2000 artists are participating. How the hell do you choose between all those amazing parties? That’s where I come in. Let me tell you where you party people should go to this ADE.

Atomnation x Full Spectrum @ Doka

Doka is intimate and sexy and Atomnation is one of my favorite labels out there. Everything they release is pure class. Polynation has just released an amazing EP on Atomnation, have a listen below. You can imagine I’m pretty damn excited about the fact that there will be a live set in the basement of the Volkshotel. I’m pretty damn excited about it. He will be supported by Atomnation boss Applescal and Guido. This is one for the connoisseurs. Don’t miss out!

Max Cooper presents Emergence @ Melkweg

I saw Max Cooper performing his Emergence show a couple of months ago in Tolhuistuin. I can honestly say I was extremely impressed. Max worked together with extremely talented visual artists to put this show together. His music and the visuals that are based on biology work perfectly together because Max can control them live as well. Max Cooper his music is so good you just want to close your eyes and listen but the visuals were so insane they forced to to koop them open the entire time. This is one of those events that make ADE so special.

Dekmantel @ North Sea Jazz Club

Dekmantel proves once again that they know what artists to book. Just mentioning Casper Tielrooij, Palms Trax, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Juju & Jordash and Young Marco should be enough to convince you to go to North Sea Jazz Club on Thursday. It’s already sold out though, so keep an eye out for tickets!

The Crave x LET: Dystopian x Giegling @ ITW

Saving the best for last. Talking about putting two of the most interesting labels out there together. Amsterdam based LET and The Crave from The Hague invited Dystopian and Giegling to ADE. RØDHÅD, Don Williams, Konstantin and Edward are performing in the IWT Warehouse. And Tobias. is performing a special live to top it all off. This means nothing but quality techno in a lovely intimate setting all night long. I seriously can’t wait for this one!
