Jerry is the name, online is my game. I'm a digital enthusiast, ranging from old skool gaming and Space Invaders to iPads and social media. The integration of digital elements in everyday life and art have my particular interest, and besides that I'm part time rockaholic.

The guys from Popcorn wanted to give the blockbusters from the past a podium again. Just to to feed your and their hunger for nostalgia. They decided to move away from the Bloemenbar for the summer, so they’ve created an open air cinema in the middle of the Vondelpark, at ‘t Blauwe Theehuis. The terrace under the big tree (hence the name, which is Dutch for ‘Under the Tree’) will be transformed to one big movie theater.

No grumpy cinema employees, bullshit regulations or hours of commercials. Just kick back and enjoy the movie.

Some of the best, funniest and most exciting movies are on display for the entire month, with a new one every Thursday evening. Last week was the kickoff with Evil Dead 2, and tomorrow Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb is on screen. The program for the rest of the month features Life of Brian, Beverly Hills Cop, and the last movie is a surprise.
