Who doesn’t like Woody Allen? Well of course some people might not, I just don’t know any. EYE definitely loves Woody, which is why they have organized a two month program in honor of the filmmaker, actor, comic, musician and overall mastermind, from July 9 until September 9. Coming Thursday EXPOSED will host the opening night.
A night full of ‘Allenesque’ entertainment, from pop-up theater to stand-up comedy, all inspired by Woody Allen.
The evening starts with the display of two Woody Allen films. Unfortunately, tickets for the surprise film are sold out, but there are still tickets available for the other one. After the movies, at 21.00, the party gets started. You can crack up over the jokes of the finalists of the Student Cabaret Festival, have your inner portrait drawn by Floris Solleveld, dance to the swing beat of Tobias Nijboer’s jazz trio or watch a documentary on the terrace. DJ Emanuelle Vos will keep your feet moving till the end of the night.
