Berliner Marlon Hoffstadt is on fire since his hit Shake That with Dansson. We had the honor to have him on this month’s Mixtape Monday.
The selection of tracks he provided is one to be remembered, he shows his versatile knowledge of what connoisseurs call house music anno 2015 with a wink to roots in jazz and blues. The tape starts off easily with the likes of Hunee, Andy Hart, the infamous Belgian We Play House records and the always-delivering Voyage Recordings from Melbourne. It’s a combination of vinyl only, digital rarities and new jams. The strength of this tape can be found in the simplicity of the diversified tracks that Marlon selected.
