A Monday mixtape from an Amsterdam based DJ to kick-start your new week. Archive here.

Midnight City Soundsystem is a newly formed duo that found love in the Amsterdam nightlife twelve years ago and recently decided to team up as a duo through the famous Midnight City bimonthly club night in the Dam. They stand for a sound that can best be described as deephouse with funk, groove, soul and disco influxes. Literally every track they put up in this compilation is plenty-full with the described above and gives you that old school Paradise Garage feeling while listening to new and hot off the press tracks.

In their own words, they had lots of fun recording this, it was their first time recording together and there was an immediate connection. Have a listen to the brilliant – vinyl only – mixtape by Midnight City Soundsystem.

With every house track that MC Soundsystem puts up, you literally hear a flawless blend between old funk and disco grooves.
