Welcome To The Future has been one of our favorite festivals for years. The line-up is a perfect mixture between big names and upcoming talent. Not to mention it’s an award winning festival that cares about the environment, and the location, Het Twiske, is mesmerizing. Let us highlight one artist from every stage for you to make you realize how impressive this line-up actually is.

Main: Seth Troxler

Seth Troxler equals madness. Example: he organizes parties that are called Big Tittie Surprise. He blew us away during his LET all-nighter in Cruquiusgilde after Vrijland and we’re pretty sure he’ll do it again on the main stage. Here’s to hoping that mister Troxler will end up booty shacking on the booth without a shirt on. Art Department, Boris Werner, Hot Since 82, The Martinez Brothers and Pan-Pot are on the bill as well. These are all amazing artists that are main stage worthy.

Techno: Shifted b2b Sigha

This is going to be something special. Shifted and Sigha are both amazing and when you put these two together magic is created. Expect nothing more than the best experimental techno from these two. Cari Lekebusch & Zoe Xenia, Chris Liebing, Len Faki, Maarten Mittendorff & Jasper Wolff, Paco Osuna and Paul Ritch will also perform on the techno stage. This obviously isn’t a stage for the fainthearted.

House: Tom Trago

Next to Alex Salvador & Daan Groeneveld, Anonym, De Sluwe Vos, DJ Sneak and Green Velvet local hero Tom Trago is playing at the house stage. He’s on a roll, and that’s an understatement. His label Voyage Direct is a huge success and he started his own booking agency called Voyage Select as well. Check out the First Mission compilation to get the feel. We can’t wait for him to play some of these tunes for us during the festival this summer.

Circus: Spaceandtime

Spaceandtime is the new project from Aron Friedman and Eric de Man. In the past they played together as Musclefarm. We actually still listen to the recording of their set at WTTF two years ago sometimes. Their new project is all about exploring the unknown and they’ve got their first EP coming up at Satori’s label KROOKS. Keep an eye out for these guys. Andhim, BEFORE.NOW.AFTER. (Eelke Kleijn, Olivier Weiter, Arjuna Schiks, Miss Melera), Gabriel Ananda, Karmon and Karotte will accompany Aron and Eric in the circus.

Amsterdam: Job Jobse

The fact that Job Jobse is Dutch makes us a little proud. We remember it as if it was yesterday when we talked to him about Trouw and 5 Days Off two years ago before he played at Nuits Sonores, Nachtdigital, Burning Man and in Panorama Bar, and made the Resident Advisor Top DJs list last year. This guy is a fast rising star and we love it when he plays a little New Order in his sets. Check out this lovely mix he did for RA to get in mood. Detroit Swindle, Dorine Dorado, Julien Chaptal, Makam, Steve Rachmad and tINI will be there too.

Garden: Olaf Stuut

Alex Niggemann, Bram Fidder, Elias Mazian, Laura Jones, Some Chemistry & Florinsz Janvier and Tsepo are performing on the same stage as Olaf Stuut. You might not have heard of this guy, but you will in the near future, trust me. This Amsterdam-based producer has released on labels such as morgen.am, Atomnation, TRAUM and Manual Music. His music could best be described as a dreamy musical trip through vibes and emotions and is suitable for dancing but listening at home as well. He’s giving a live performance so expect to hear his own hypnotizing music.

Forest: Awanto3

Awanto3’s roots lie deep in the Amsterdam nightlife. Back in the days he was a resident at legendary club Mazzo. He has worked with Kid Sublime and Aardvark and is now part of booking agency Voyage Select. His music is very unpredictable, but in a good way. Expect everything from 100 to 170 bpm, from house and disco to techno booty and juke. Basically everything with a bit of soul in it. Beesmunt Soundsystem, Kid Sublime, Max Abysmal & Philou Louzolo, Tim Hoeben and a contest winner are playing at the Forest stage as well.
