Our lovely city is packed with a crazy amount of festivals. That’s a good thing of course but it can be quite hard to choose between them if you’re working with a budget. Let us tell you about one that stands out and is worth your while. Everyone who likes electronic music, even if they don’t know that much about it, must have heard about Diynamic Music. It’s one of the most popular labels around and their deep sound attracts a wide range of people. This month Diynamic returns for their third festival here.

This year it’ll be held at the lovely Amsterdamse Bos and there’ll bee free pedal boats. This is the first edition with two stages; one main stage for raving and one smaller, intimate one where there’s room for longer sets. Let us highlight some of the artists that are playing for you.

Stimming: musical genius

Stimming is extremely intelligent and truly has an ear for music. He was classically schooled in the piano, violin and drums when he was very young and he has amazing technical skills. His 4D Sound System residency is just one of the many impressive projects he has on the side. Expect deep music with beautiful textures during Diynamic Festival. This is one for the connoisseurs.

Karmon: Dutch rising star

Karmon represents us Dutchies in the Diynamic family. We loved his Feel It EP in 2012 and it still gives us party goosebumps today, to be honest. Three years and several releases, remixes, podcasts and sets later Karmon still knows how to put a smile on the crowds face and has only grown as an artist. With a remix on Stil vor Talent and gigs at Extrema Outdoor, Welcome To The Future and of course Diynamic Festival, his future looks bright. Karmon, if you’re reading this, please play When Dark Becomes Light for us the 29th, like the old days.

Kollektiv Turmstrasse: live heroes

We can tell you from our own experience that there aren’t a lot of things that can beat a live set from Kollektiv Turmstrasse. Trust us. This German duo is known to be made of true synth-magicians. It so happens that the next Diynamic release is from Kollektiv Turmstrasse. I’m pretty sure you can expect it in their set during the festival. Have a listen below and you’ll know you want to be dancing to this in the sun.

Diynamic label boss Solomun, Adriatique, NTFO, Ost & Kjex, DJ Phono, Thyladomid, Magdalena and H.O.S.H. are also on the bill and are pretty damn cool as well. See you on the 29th in the Amsterdamse Bos! How can you not be excited when you look at last year’s after movie?
