An article and small video introduce local underground artists to those who are hungry for discovery. In the first edition Sevdaliza was interviewed and this month it’s Beesmunt Soundsystem’s turn.

Beesmunt Soundsystem unfolded

Beesmunt Soundsystem is one of those duos that you know you’re going to hear more and more about in the future. Back in the days they started their musical career with a gig at a school reunion. This escalated quickly and they ended up hosting their own night in Trouw called Soundmachine (which is now being continued in Closure, where they recently invited the legendary Omar S), and they blew my mind several times in De Verdieping. Their style is hard to describe in one word, which is a good sign. They’re open to many genres. The guys started to produce as well about two years ago and their releases are very diverse.
