Jerry is the name, online is my game. I'm a digital enthusiast, ranging from old skool gaming and Space Invaders to iPads and social media. The integration of digital elements in everyday life and art have my particular interest, and besides that I'm part time rockaholic.

A monthly mixtape from an Amsterdam based DJ to kick-start your new week. Archive here.

Fewture and Freddie Glitch met in class in 2011 and realized that, apart from their shared obsession with nightlife and finding and exchanging new music, they really dug each others sounds. Fewture joined Freddie’s booking agency and they started doing gigs together. They also started working on tunes soon after, when they stepped into Fewture’s studio in Amsterdam in 2012 for what proved to become a solid collaboration. Up until then Fewture had been making more dub, old school and techno influenced tunes, while Freddie’s focus was more on nu disco and deep house. They found a common middle ground and started creating a new sound together.

That creative match showed in the studio, where a smooth collaboration led to a series of tunes that were well received and got support from the likes of Pete Tong, Kry Wolf, Jamie Trench, Crazy P, Quinten 909 and Marlon Hoffstadt. Their most recent release, a classic style house remix of Jamie Trench’s Who Ya Gonna Call, came out last month on Jamie’s Still Need It EP, and was favored and featured on blogs, Fritz.de and top lists. The mix and match of influences doesn’t stop at their own productions though, as also in sets they try to build a broader musical experience through a variety of influences.

This mix they made for us indeed tackles a broad spectrum of genres and shows their musicality and their ability to set a perfect vibe with their sound. They give us mix of unreleased stuff, vinyl only and classics.

Happy Mixtape Monday!

The mix shows their musicality and ability to set a perfect vibe with their sound.
