Amsterdam Dance Event is my favourite sleepless week of the year. I’ve been going there since I was 15 and will try to go there until the end of time. It is also a week of great dilemmas. 80 venues and over 2000 artists are participating. How the hell do you choose between all those amazing parties? That’s where I come in. Let me tell you where you party people should go to this ADE.

Watergate x Keinemusik @ Studio 80

I just want to hug the Studio 80 team for making this line-up happen. First of all Ellen Alien; I still get goosebumps when I think of her rocking the Sleepless Floor at Melt! Festival in 2011. But Mathias Kaden, Sebo K and La Fleur are all amazing. I’m looking forward to Quantum Entanglement, a project from Lee Jones (known from MyMy and Heffner) and Fin Greenall (also known as Sideshow and from his band Fink) most though. Check out this tune and you’ll understand. Can’t wait for this one!

Resident Advisor – Amsterdam Dance Event Special @ Trouw

It makes me sad that this is going to be Trouw’s last ADE ever. All the more reason to go there, just so you can tell your grandchildren you were there that last year, when Trouw has become a cult legend. At their Resident Advisor special they have invited some pretty damn good artists. I’d go there simply because Four Tet is playing. The fact that Jon Hopkins, Floating Points, Motor City Drum Ensemble and Move D will be there too make the choice a bit easier and this night even better.

Awakenings presents Electric Deluxe @ Gashouder

This one is going to be massive, literally. Expect a packed Gashouder where DVS1, Len Faki, Speedy J, AnD, Karren (Blawan and Pariah) and Nina Kraviz will play. Nina is the artist every guy wants and, let’s be honest here, every girl wants as well (that music ánd that face, come one). This night will bring you intense music to enjoy. Happy Hangover!
