Too many plans for the weekend? Let me narrow your options down by weekly suggesting the events where you can meet, dance and drink with Amsterdam’s finest crowds. After all, ‘a hangover ain’t worth the pain if the party is lame’. So here’s where you weekend warriors should go to for next Monday’s hangover.
Friday: Tom Trago All Night Long @ Trouw
Tom Trago is awesome. Check out his Boiler Room set and multiply that awesomeness times at least eight hours. Add to this the fact that this awesome night is going to happen at my favourite club Trouw and you’ve got A LOT of awesomeness for one Friday night. I think I’ve never used the word awesome that much in so little sentences. Anyway, see you there. Awesome.
Saturday: Next Monday’s Hangover @ Roest
This party has a really cool name don’t you think? The line-up of this event should be enough to have you drooling: Some Chemistry, Pachanga Boys, Weval, Robag Wruhme, DJ Tennis and Avatism. I’m suppressing the urge to use a really big amount of exclamation marks right now. Given the fact that these artists will play in the Roest warehouse this night will be a legendary one.
Saturday: The Great Escape @ Studio 80
Get ready people. Detroit Swindle is going all out with the third edition of The Great Escape. They will make this an extra long party and they have extended the opening hours. Trus’me, Max Graef, Frits Wentink (who I had a little chat with as well this week), Maxi Mill and Detroit Swindle themselves will be providing you with tunes this Saturday.
