Too many plans for the weekend? Let me narrow down your options by suggesting some events where you can meet, dance and drink with Amsterdam’s finest crowds. After all, ‘a hangover ain’t worth the pain if the party is lame’. Here’s where you weekend warriors should go to for next Monday’s hangover.
Friday: Voyage Direct & Tape @ Trouw
Say hello to Tom Trago, Tegowelt, Mark du Mosch, Dollkraut, Tape DJ’s and Haron. These guys will make you go crazy on the dance floor this Friday, I can assure you that my friends. If you don’ t believe me? Check out this Dekmantel Boiler Room set Mark du Mosch did. Because Trouw its days are slowly coming to an end (I honestly don’ t know what I’m going to fill the coming void with) I recommend you to party in Trouw as much as you can, while you still can.
Saturday: Morgenavond @ Canvas op de 7e
I don’ t think there could be a better party to celebrate Canvas op de 7e its return. I love that place. You know what I also love? Busting some moves on the tunes from the Morgen.am family. This time Olaf Stuut, Ryan Davis and Some Chemistry will do the job. Lovely vibes guaranteed this Saturday.
Saturday: Boris Werner invited The Martinez Brothers @ Trouw
Boris Werner is true Amsterdam electronic royalty. His insane marathon sets in Studio 80 are legendary and he keeps breaking records. And let me tell you, he’s got taste. When he invites another artist to play at my favourite club I know it’ll be good before I even know who he invited. It is definitely no burden to check out these guys from New York. See you there.
