Too many plans for the weekend? Let me narrow down your options by suggesting some events where you can meet, dance and drink with Amsterdam’s finest crowds. After all, ‘a hangover ain’t worth the pain if the party is lame’. Here’s where you weekend warriors should go to for next Monday’s hangover.

Friday: A night with… Musclefarm @ BEATCLUB

BEATCLUB is known for its amazing sound system which by itself should be enough reason to go there. Musclefarm (Eric de Man and Aron Friedman) has been one of my favourite duos since Welcome To The Future, last summer. I still listen to that set sometimes. This night can’t possibly turn out different than extremely fun!

Saturday: Zauer Kitchen @ Westergasterras

I had a blast last month at Daniel Zuur´s birthday party and I’m excited since it’s already time for the next edition of Zauer Kitchen this Saturday! It´s the perfect setting to lift up the time where it’s too early to go out. Instead of having a drink with friends at home or in a pub to catch up you can surround yourself with amazing music (Paul Hazendonk, Koen Schepens and Daniel Zuur) and awesome people (like me) at the Westergasterras. And the best thing is that when the night ends, there’s still enough time to go out!

Saturday & Sunday: Dystopian & Klockworks Weekender @ Trouw

Gotta love me some Trouw weekenders. How can anyone say no to this insane line-up? On Saturday Recondite, Distant Echoes, Pär Grindvik, Carlos Valdes, Rødhåd, Alex.Do, Soundstream, Don Williams and Melon will play all night and all day. On Sunday my hero Ben Klock, Etapp Kyle and ROD will play. I’ll definitely be there!
