Last Friday I was invited to a somewhat secretive and peculiar office party. Normally, you end up at an opening or launch on a random Friday evening after work. The drinks are free, the music is a tad too loud (yet quite good!) and the people are… ‘interesting’. But this particular Friday was something refreshingly different. Champagne, smoked salmon & eggs, tattoos, barbers, live music and a strange man in an astronaut outfit. It was 09:30am; about time for online clothing boutique FreshCotton to launch their new website. And they took it to the stars!
FreshCotton has been around for quite some time now and they’ve had their ups and downs over the years. But they’ve always seemed to keep a close-knit team of individuals orbiting around their core. Thanks to this, they’ve been able to grow and have learned to stand for something. Regaining focus with their eyes pointed towards the future, they have a brand new website expressing their genuine street culture that has been built up over the years.

At Overdose we have our own focus as well of course, lovely Amsterdam! So lucky for us, the cats over at FreshCotton are not solely online. Bringing the lovely Timex watches over to Amsterdam’s Ludwig Bar back in November and in December throwing yet another party, this time at Hutspot, to celebrate the sexy students of Holland in their 2014 FreshCotton Calendar, these guys have enough cool get-togethers to keep you going. Beware of free booze, give-aways and beautiful girls with ten times your swag.
