Fortnightly drawings about the daily life in Amsterdam. People going to work, hipsters crying about what choices to make, men living the dream on De Wallen or lost tourists in front of the Anne Frank House.
Last week it felt like the first week of spring. Everybody thinks 16 degrees is fair enough and acts like summer is there. I was cycling through Westerpark and got an instant summer feeling. I saw selfies filled with grass, a shiny funfair, people wearing sunglasses and a lot of sunblock (oh please, don’t exaggerate). So I did a little research, drew the map of Westerpark and created a data visualization by counting all the things I saw. All these things combined are… the first day of spring!
