Too many plans for the weekend? Let me narrow down your options by suggesting some events where you can meet, dance and drink with Amsterdam’s finest crowds. After all, ‘a hangover ain’t worth the pain if the party is lame’. Here’s where you weekend warriors should go to for next Monday’s hangover.

Friday: THE CORE. w/ De Sluwe Vos presents KONTRA live / Skudge live / Bambounou / Mudde

De Sluwe Vos is ready to take you on a journey to the essence, the base, the CORE. The time has come to guide you through the deeper paths of his musical flavour and creations. With the fresh Dhoem Dhaam Warehouse as the no-bullshit location of choice this night will deliver you the core of what party should be like. This will be De Sluwe Vos’ last ‘Kontra’ live set of the year,; one that will include serious show elements such as video mapping and an extraordinary analogue set-up. Also, none other than Skudge will also be bringing his live show all the way from Sweden, supported by French DJ legend Bambounou and local rockstar Mudde. This night is serious, see you up front!

Saturday: AUDIO CULTURE FEAT. BODDIKA / DENSE & PIKA LIVE / AUDIO CULTURE DJ’S @ Trouw

Audio Culture is a collective, platform, label, or whatever you want to call these music connoisseurs. They generally stand for quality house music, at quality locations. Last time they held a party in Paradiso, this time they head back to their other HQ called Trouw. Special guests for this one: London’s rising star Boddika together with city-mates Dense & Pika live and your hosts for the night – the Audio Culture DJ’s. Enough music for the soul, stomach, and feet.

Saturday: Wasteland @ North Sea Venue

Wasteland, an event that is usually uncovered here on Overdose.am, well ‘t was about time we did put this notorious party in the spotlights. Because it is, Europe’s most notorious fetish extravaganza. An event to step out of your comfort zone with more than 3000 fetishonistas from all over the globe to the North Sea Venue right outside of Amsterdam. Expect three dance floors, six stages, smoking area, restaurant, lounge, ‘relax’ area, first aid, a fully equipped dungeon and more. Plus, a bus service from the centre of Amsterdam to the location. Wasteland has a strict dress code: they expect their guests to expose creativity and fantasy into their outfits. What about the DJs? Who cares! Go misbehave at the superbowl of fetish.
