Too many plans for the weekend? Let me narrow down your options by suggesting some events where you can meet, dance and drink with Amsterdam’s finest crowds. After all, ‘a hangover ain’t worth the pain if the party is lame’. Here’s where you weekend warriors should go to for next Monday’s hangover.

Friday: Klerenbende – halloween part-II @ Chicago Social Club

Halloween, one of America’s most spectacular parties of the year. Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, attending costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films. In our country it’s just about dressing up, going to the club and getting wasted. Best choice in Amsterdam would be Leidseplein’s Chicago Social Club, where Faux Couture, Dirty Bastards, Primo Disco, Kris Kross and many other artists will be ‘killing’ the dancefloor. Get it?

Friday: Oi! FINAL EDITION WITH DIGITAL MYSTIKZ @ Paradiso

This Friday, be prepared for the last edition of Oi! in Paradiso. After nine years of cutting-edge dubstep and grime parties, Oi!-founder Gomes decided to focus on releasing music with the label Oi! Recordings. Nine years ago, Oi! was a true pioneer by bringing you new music from the UK to the Netherlands. Now, nine years later, the roles change and Oi! will move on into the exterior with their releases. Party one last time with them at our city’s pop temple, featuring Oi! legends Digital Mystikz, N-Type, Bukez Finezt, Gomes, Brutuzz and Vader.

Friday: SUB/FIX with Jon Charnis (USA) @ Beatclub

Finally, a new party every Friday night at BEATCLUB. A new concept with care for quality and future sounds. In this new era of electronic music, some of the talented DJs and producers are forgotten due to all the hypes and information overloads. SUB/FIX doesn’t need huge headliners to catch your interest, just quality music creators that will get you dancing all night long. This Friday they invited a familiar face of Innervisions; Jon Charnis. Supported by PONY and KIMOU. That’s it for now, we all need time to recover after ADE. Enjoy the weekend.
