Too many plans for the weekend? Let me narrow down your options by suggesting some events where you can meet, dance and drink with Amsterdam’s finest crowds. After all, ‘a hangover ain’t worth the pain if the party is lame’. Here’s where you weekend warriors should go to for next Monday’s hangover.

Friday: De Nachtdivisie met Mario Basanov @ Chicago Social Club

Since his break-through in 2011 with the delicate and charming ensemble called Mario & Vidis, Mario Basanov stated he was one of the key players in the game for steady outputs of quality house and disco music. The Lithuanian artist has been linked with numerous Innervisions records and artist pseudonyms over the past year. This Friday is about warm music, accompanied by the handsome residents of the Nachtdivisie Terry Toner & Kevin Duane, WNDWLCKRS, Lumière and many more.

By now a familiar evening in town: MORGENAVOND, this time to celebrate their forthcoming morgen.ep by the upcoming and talented producer Anton Kuertz. Remixed by ME.N.U. and Camiel Daamen, they celebrate with the entire family again during another label showcase in the newest, hottest and underground club that is DOKA. As DOKA heats up by the sounds of Some Chemistry, Hubert Kirchner, Anton Kuerz and La Vondèl, you’ll be pulled into a hypnotizing night of deep, melancholic and finally energetic house by ME.N.U. and Camiel Daamen. Highlight of the evening is Anton Kuertz playing as a live ensemble, a rarely seen thing during club nights. DOKA suits this perfectly so be sure not to miss this dark and raw, yet comfortable and cozy MORGENAVOND.

Apparently, we all have to prepare for the storm. And put our jackets on, ’cause shit is about to go down (under). Why? Because none other than Australian producer Tornado Wallace is hitting Amsterdam. Tornado, get it? Yeah. Tornado Wallace is Australia’s number 1 bearded disco hero, for real. Apart from this special performance, AFTERFEST’s charm is its intimacy and alternative location; Noorderlicht. This party will be supported by your hosts for the night SHMLSS, HAARBARBAAR and Chris Ivan. All their previous events turned out to be orgasmic, don’t miss out. Enjoy the hangover!
