Bring Your Own Beamer is back with over 75 artists

Bring Your Own Beamer (BYOB) is a series of one-night exhibitions, hosting artists and their projectors. An idea originally thought up by the internet artist Rafael Rozendaal who lets people crowd-source this concept.

It’s the best get-together to drink beer, act all hip and pretend not to be blinded by the lights of the beamers.

The 4th of October you can view this gathering of beamers and creative work in the city centre of Amsterdam at De Brakke Grond. I’m looking forward to seeing projections of animated GIFs, videos and other random stuff on walls, ceilings and floors. This time several collectives work together to give us the biggest BYOB in the Netherlands as of yet. It’s a collaboration by the guys from Setup, who do a lot of interesting stuff in Utrecht, and Fiber, which you might recognise from the stuff they do in Trouw.
