Parasomnia
I’m not quite sure if I understood Ward’s vision completely, but I do know that I was completely mesmerized by the garments presented on the catwalk. There was a great variety of textures, odd shapes, floral prints and extraordinarily looking frills. To be honest, I don’t see myself wearing a garment which makes my already prominent hips even bigger, nor do I see myself pull off cut-out leather pants like these, but I do appreciate the craftsmanship and the exceptional pieces. The black leather frilled skirt worn with the sheer top was definitely my favourite piece, followed by the grey suede dress with the same kind of frills. The collection exuded ‘fashion’ and the dark tones combined with the floral prints sort of blurred the lines between romanticism and darkness.
