Too many plans for the weekend? Let me narrow down your options by suggesting some events where you can meet, dance and drink with Amsterdam’s finest crowds. After all, ‘a hangover ain’t worth the pain if the party is lame’. Here’s where you weekend warriors should go to for next Monday’s hangover.

Friday: De Nachtdivisie with Digitaria @ Chicago Social Club

Now that summer is officially amongst us, we take off our long-sleeves and head towards the Chicago Social Club on Friday. For this extra hot edition, expect all the best from South America. Juicy steaks, Venezuelan women, Parbo beer, samba football, moustache supporting leftist revolutionaries and the sexier kind of deep house featuring none other than Digitaria from Brazil and Luis Leon from Peru. Pretty nice huh!? As always at De Nachtdivisie, expect a handful of attractive residents such as Terry Toner, Kevin Duane, Deep ‘N Disco Boys and many more. Boogietime!

Friday: Heroic @ Barkode

From disco to warm solid deep house, at Heroic it all comes together. A home for the brave, heroes of tomorrow. A new party concept in town, featuring two areas. Always exciting. Expect all the latest sub-genres in house music to come together at Barkode this Friday night. Main area will feature none other than local rockstars Melon, Elias Mazian, KERK! and Francesco Robustelli. But, as if that wasn’t enough, the heroic men behind this get-together gathered some serious talent to show us what they got at Barkode’s second area: Mikey Nice, Hellie Berry, Maya J, JOIJA, Charles Moody and Alexander Valentyn. Sounds like you need to show some of that support for your local scene!

Saturday: @ Blijburg aan Zee

Finally, for all of you who are deciding not to go to an indoor festival like Pitch, is probably your best bet. Outside, on a beach. Including BBQ, silent disco, DJs, live music, a vintage market, sandcastle workshop, hoola hoops, campfires, oompa loompa sunscreen service and much more. Of course, your much needed dose of party music will be present, especially at night when everything moves inside you can expect German DJs Joshua Jesse, Derek Haze, Jascha Hagen and the all-star DJ crew. As if that wasn’t enough, the crew will be present to celebrate its three year anniversary! How about that? More than enough reason to go celebrate with us and the family. Oh by the way, entrance is free. Plus, sun is highly present this weekend. Enjoy the hangovers!
