Have you already heard about the massive project Twenty4Amsterdam, planned in the former Shell tower at the IJ-banks? This skyscraper will host a panorama bar, hotel, studios and a dance bunker all by itself. Together with the beloved 24 hours license, rumour has it this can be one of the greatest make-over the city has seen in years. Unfortunately we have to be patient, because the doors will officially open in 2015. But this week you’re lucky, ’cause the creative enterprise treats us with a sneak preview; Nachtlab Overhoeks serves a diverse potpourri of arts and music until Thursday.

Nachtlab Overhoeks

This ‘nightlab’ wants to stimulate the cultural nightlife. Last weekend they kicked off with an artists ball, (ive) exhibitions, music and the cosiest party I’ve ever been to: the mini rave. The rest of the week there’s still a chance to see a lot of things, keep an eye on their website for an up to date programme or just step by. Even if you’re not into raw interiors holding paintings, at least walk in to see where the magic will happen two years from now.
