Rob is 28 (but needs his beard to actually look like it), loves music, adventures and spontaneous people. His scribblings are about these things too, so if you share his interests, stay tuned!

A mixtape from an Amsterdam based DJ every Monday to kick-start your new week. Archive here.

It was her older brother who introduced Barbara (Het Meisje) to vinyl when she was 13 years old. At age 16 Barbara got captivated by Amsterdam’s night-life and with it she discovered minimal and techno. She loved its dark tones and raw beats, already played by her heroes Max Cooper, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Extrawelt. It was her performance two years later at a ZeeZout after party, that gave her a big head start as a DJ, eventually resulting in a position as ZeeZout resident. Currently she’s focused on producing her own sounds; music with a feeling.

I dug deep in my old record collection and found some cool tracks I was never able to play before. I named this set Analog Vibes, as most of the tracks are analog recordings which gives them that specific raw, edgy and authentic sound.
