About the author
The name's Ciaran, a 27-year-old guy who loves the idea of a discovery, even if it actually isn't one. Among many other Sherlock Holmes adventures, searching for art and music is what keeps me going. High Five!

A platform for talent, with love for imagery and the maker. This is, in a nutshell, Beelddragers. Their vision is inspiring and creates a personal connection with a work of art; and of course its maker. Something you often miss out on with other existing platforms. This energy is now being transformed into their newest expo opening this Friday, Beelddragers X10.

Ten artists, ten images, ten stories, one mission, one expo.

For this impressive challenge they chose ten artists. The brief was simple: go out and find a story that inspires you and make an image to match. Nothing more, nothing less. Ten artists, ten images, ten stories, one mission, one expo.

You can read all about the artists, their stories and their final images here. But to get a complete understanding of what goes on in the mind of an artist and introduce you to the 10 different personalities, Beelddragers gave them an extra task. To make a film that illustrates the context of their work; 1 minute, 1 take. They’re the director in all of this and determine the construction of their message, resulting is some very interesting pieces. You can check out all of them on Beelddragers’ vimeo channel.

Of course Beelddragers has not forgotten the consumer in all of this either. Every image is limited to a number of 50 prints at €50 per print. To claim yours, go to the Facebook event page and find out how to get your hands on your favourite. I know what I’m getting from Ms. Claus this Christmas!
