A mixtape from an Amsterdam based DJ every Monday to kick-start your new week. Archive here.
DJ and Malawi collective member Luc Mast: “In 1987 U2 recorded their version of Helter Skelter, originally written by The Beatles. Bono’s introduction to the song was: “This is a song Charles Manson stole from The Beatles. We’re stealing it back.” This is close to what I want to do: stealing trance back. The tracks in this mix are those I listen to at home and play in clubs and bars either. I really tried to do the best I could, so that even when you don’t like it, you wasted your time on something someone put effort in – not in the least because it took me half a day to get this mix on SoundCloud.”
