The possibilities in worthless bull-crap you can wrap up and give to your loved ones during the Holidays are endless. Socks, books, DVDs and other things are enjoyed for a short moment and then forgotten. How about thinking outside the box and exchanging art under the Christmas tree or at Sinterklaas? But before you assume art is expensive, have a look in the ASA Holiday Pop Up Store. Maybe you’ll find the gift that’ll be loved forever.

A cool place to hang out, even if you’re not interested in buying art.

Amsterdam Street Art invited more than 50 artists to sell their art to the public in the store. Small and big paintings, etches, photos, t-shirts and paraphernalia such as books and stickers can be found in this temporarily shop. Jeremy Gibbs, Narcoze, INKIE, KBTR, The London Police, AmsterSam and Bustart are just a few names from the impressive list of contributing artists. Small paintings go for €20; bigger ones are around €65. Besides walls of art, there’s live painting by some of the best street artists, DJs are spinning tunes and there’s beer and vodka. So it’s a cool place to hang out, even if you’re not interested in buying art.

ASA Holiday Pop Up shop is located in IVES.one‘s workshop on Zeeburgerdijk 476 and open four Saturdays from December 1st, 12:00 from 18:00. Can’t get enough of street art? When you‘re in the East side, have a look at the Hall of Fame under the Schellingwouderbrug just 500 meters away from the shop, and at the Polderweg, near MuzyQ.
