Patrice Bäumel is a forward-thinking German audiovisual artist, DJ and producer currently living in Amsterdam. He describes his own style of music as “modern dance music for adults”. Next to running his own free label “EX“, he is a resident DJ at Trouw, one of Europe’s leading venues for electronic music. Through the course of almost 90 minutes this mix, a live recording from HIFI night at Trouw, slowly unfolds, taking the listener on a dark trip from slow-burning cosmic disco and electronica to more euphoric and upbeat material. Features music by Apparat, Matthew Dear, Barker & Baumecker and others.
