Too many plans for the weekend? Let me narrow down your options by suggesting some events where you can meet, dance and drink with Amsterdam’s finest crowds. After all, ‘a hangover ain’t worth the pain if the party is lame’. Here’s where you weekend warriors should go to for next Monday’s hangover.

Thursday: Misc Nights & morgen.am @ Club NL

A good old fashioned low-key club night with quality DJs & live acts accompanied by a drink and who knows what more. Two agencies combining the arts of booking, releasing music and setting up showcases with their talented artists. This time we have Mike Ravelli representing Misc Agency and La Vondèl & Hubert Kirchner, both live, representing morgen.am. Come and say hello to November folks.

Thursday: White Rabbit’s Last Thursday @ Sugar Factory

Another interesting one on this early start of the weekend is White Rabbit’s last edition of their traditional Thursday nights in the Sugar Factory. After successful events in VLLA, Woodstock69 and Studio 80 these creative men decided to pay the almighty student night some mor respect and go mental for one last time. Of course, accompanied with music by friends of the show Aron Friedman, ME.N.U. and resident Robbert Ferdinand. Follow these guys all the way down the rabbit hole.

Friday: Midnight Freaks Invite: Reboot, Lauhaus and Melon @ AIR

The Midnight Freaks have taken a hold of Reboot, an artist known to lay down tracks that are so visceral they’re positively orgasmic. His approach to performance and production is based around what he calls ‘complex poly-rhythmic architecture’, not forgetting a musical heritage that spans house, techno, world music and jazz. Specially the last year, this DJ/producer went sky high in the charts. I can recommend checking him out if you haven’t yet. Of course, there’s more. Support comes from local heroes Lauhaus, Melon and friend of the show Ferro.

Saturday: Nachtmuseum @ Sugar Factory

Finally, it’s time for some serious Museumnacht after-parties, with an emphasize on Nachtmuseum at Leidseplein’s Sugar Factory. Presented by Curious Behaviour and Pittug, these guys have put together a temple where art and nightlife meet each other. Or as they call it, a lively museum full of interactivity. Music is provided by Edwin Oosterwal, Jeff solo, Carlos Valdes, Daniel Zuur, Danny Koppers and Hermens. Have an amazing hangover Amsterdam.
