The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the gateway to the international electronic music scene. As Europe’s leading electronic music conference and the world’s biggest club festival, it’s the perfect time and place to meet up with international music minds, get introduced to an international audience and connect with new music, new trends and new people.

This year’s Amsterdam Dance Event runs from Wednesday the 17th till Sunday the 21st of October. If you’re in the possession of a fancy all-access wristband, we’ve made a short list for you of the best parties to generate a massive hangover that will last you all week. If you don’t have an all-access ticket, we’ve added some kick-ass alternatives to the sold out events. Here’s our recommendations for Wednesday:

Dekmantel ADE – Paramount Artists @ MC Theater

“The Dekmantel Collective is made up of a group like minded friends who all share the same love for quality music. Founded in 2007, the initial target was to present different music in the capital city’s night-life, which was -at the time- dominated by too much of the same. While the first parties took place at various small venues, Dekmantel’s popularity soon grew and currently regular nights are held in Amsterdam hot-spots such as Paradiso, Studio 80 and Trouw. Nowadays, they’ve built a new residency for themselves at the MC Theater in Westerpark. They kick-off ADE with a collaboration with the Paramount artists Carl Craig presents 69 (live), Agoria, Nina Kraviz, Paul Woolford, Francesco, Tristano (live), Stacey Pullen, Radio Slave, Trus’me, Jan van Kampen, Jasper Wolff and Maarten Mittendorff on Wednesday.

Warung Tour 2012 & Kompakt Showcase @ Melkweg

In the Melkweg, Red Bull Music Academy teams up with Cologne’s renowned Kompakt label, bringing Academy lecturer Michael Mayer, brazilian techno boss Gui Boratto, Nice’s Jennifer Cardini and local hero Jorn Liefdeshuis, plus a live performance by Cologne’s Kölsch. The max will be hosted by Warung, represented by the Amsterdam based 16 Bit Lolitas and Brazilian Warung residents Leo Janeiro, Daniel Kuhnen and Renato Ratier. Of course Gui will be performing at the Max, see you up front Amsterdam!

Diynamic Neon Nights presented BY Studio 80 – Day 1 at Schram Studio’s

During Amsterdam Dance Event Diynamic & Studio 80 collaborated to bring you the Diynamic Neon Nights. This Wednesday Solomun, David August, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Stimming, H.O.S.H., Uner, Hunter/Game and Karmon will take over the Schram Studio’s at the industrial area of Amsterdam North for a colourful Neon Night. Expect the best of contemporary deep house music on this night, can’t go wrong with any of these masters of basslines and vocals. Oh yeah, most importantly, there will be a limited door sale so be early!

PaardenKracht & The Magician present: A Magical Night @ Air @ AIR

On another magical note, PaardenKracht and AIR team up for their own magical disco night. Four white rabbits, a magical wand, two white gloves and a whole lot of music. Put this togheter in a big black hat that’s called AIR and POOF! The Magician helped curate this night and invited Perseus (US) Moon Boots (GB) Jonas Rathsman (SE), Maxxi Soundsystem (UK), SHMLSS and Lumiere to do a little dance together.
